A logo can't do it all.
For this reason, we tend to never create a brand without considering all aspects of visual communication. To create a brand, you need visual assets that talk to each other across the print and digital landscape.
Your Journey is a not-for-profit company providing a range of services to young people aged between 15–24 within Melbourne's southeast suburbs. They offer a range of services tailored to young people who may be experiencing disadvantages in emotional development, uncertain housing arrangements and community involvement. They came to us wanting to create a set of brand guidelines and marketing collateral for its company to use across the digital and print landscape.
Your Journey wanted to develop an engaging, yet unified brand presence. We begun by researching the brand, its values and its objectives.
By collaborating in-person and over video chats, we were able to create a visual presence that attracted its audience with an interesting colour palette and simplicity in structure that served to educate rather than alienate.
Once we had developed what the brand could look like across a range of print and digital collateral, we explored how this could transpose into a set of custom social templates.
The aim was to create a range of custom-designed Canva templates that the team at Your Journey could use and repurpose for months to come.
The templates consisted of:
Carousel posts
QnA templates
Instagram Story Announcements
