Sprintsuite started as an idea to help engineering and mining companies track staff, jobs and billable revenue across large-scale operations throughout Australia. The program would be a tailored field service, project and workshop management solution for maintenance and engineering-intensive industries. The need for one all-encompassing program was vital for admin staff to have transparency across all areas, including health and safety requirements and training, travel time and cost, and jobs extending across multiple days or weeks.
The areas that needed to be designed and built out included:
- Job Management
- Staff Management
- Procurement
- Planning and Scheduling
- Health, Safety and Compliance
- Asset Management
The all-in-one program is fully responsive to all user devices and accessible from anywhere.
The visual layout of information was considered and designed in conjunction with industry-specific processes and prototyped for testing amongst targeted users.
During its testing stages, we identified that users preferred a list format for tasks and jobs, whilst scheduling functions benefited from a visual and interactive experience to help plan for future tasks and staffing requirements.
Since its inception and continuous agile development, we have seen an uptake in the program from engineering corporations such as Maddison Wright Engineering, Proform Industrial, Diesel and Dirt Contracting, Bennco Group and more.
